    Wealth Advisor

Gino Molettieri’s entrepreneurial spirit drives him to create from the spark of an idea, the comprehensive planning solutions his clients rely on to help them reach their aspirations. The first member of his family to be born in the United States, Gino believes that he inherited his pioneering energy from his father.

Gino’s parents moved from Italy to Montreal and then to Massachusetts. “My father had his sights set on achieving the American Dream, so he moved his family here and opened his tailoring business, which he ran for more than 35 years,” said Gino. “It was through hard work and determination that my father was able to move to not one, but two new countries, and build a successful business. He is the definition of an entrepreneur to me.”

Gino used the lessons he learned from his father to start his wealth management practice. After working at several financial services firms, Gino set out to become an independent wealth advisor and in 2014, he founded Lumen Wealth Management. He is passionate about the planning process and helping people manage and preserve their wealth. “I truly enjoy working with my clients one-on-one, helping them to discover the paths available to them to achieve their financial goals.”

Gino graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in economics. For more than 20 years, he has guided individuals and business owners through all market cycles. He takes pride in developing long-term relationships and investing the time to understand every client’s fears, goals, and dreams, so he can help them accomplish what they set out to achieve.

An avid hockey player and fan, Gino likes to invoke the words of 1980 U.S. Gold Medal Olympic Hockey coach, Herb Brooks: “Great moments are born from great opportunities.” Gino believes that everyone has the opportunity to attain their financial goals if they remain committed to a proper plan. “With the right plan, people are more likely to achieve their goals and experience those great moments.”

In his spare time, Gino likes to play hockey and golf. “I tell myself that I’m keeping the dream alive by skating twice a week. In reality, I just enjoy being out there with the guys—I know the dream has been dead for many years!”

Gino is committed to his community and has served on the boards of several youth sports organizations and he is a past president of the Reading Chamber of Commerce. One of Gino’s fondest memories was when he organized a charity hockey tournament against the Boston Bruins alumni. “Playing against those legends was a highlight of my hockey career. “ Gino has also raised funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society by participating in the MS Cape Cod Ride, making the 75-mile ride six times.

Gino and his wife, Anna, live in Reading, Massachusetts, with their three children. Isabel studies musical theatre and vocal performance at Muhlenberg College, Lydia studies exercise science at Merrimack College, and Ethan attends Austin Prep in Reading, Massachusetts.
